Barbara Ann Corcoran

 Barbara Ann Corcoran is an American businesswoman from America. In 2001, she launched The Corcoran Group in New York City. She sold the company to NRT for $66 millions. Shortly thereafter, she exited from the business. Corcoran has participated in 12 episodes of ABC's Shark Tank seasons. Corcoran has signed 53 deals in February of 2020. The biggest deal she signed was her investment of $350,000 in Coverplay for 40%. Corcoran was born in Edgewater (New Jersey) as the second of ten children from a working-class Irish Catholic family. Florence Corcoran's mother was a homemaker. Edwin W. Corcoran Jr. was her father through Corcoran's early years. The family depended on food delivery services for free from a local grocer. Corcoran claims that her father was a drunken man who was rude to her mother and disrespect. Corcoran struggled with her education and was later diagnosed with dyslexia. Corcoran was a student at the local Catholic elementary school, and then began the high school system at St. Cecilia High School in Englewood. Corcoran graduated from Leonia High School with a degree in English after failing several courses during her first year of high school.
